Our name is derived from one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese mythology, Fukurokuju, which means "happiness" (fuku); "wealth" (roku); and "longevity" (ju).

We strive to give visitors an authentic feel for the age-old tradition of sake brewing and to deeply convey the heart of Japan as expressed through the art and craft of producing sake.

Visitors will have the opportunity to:

• Tour the brewery (Prior reservation required. For information, please contact info@shushinkan.co.jp)
• Taste our premium sake, Fukuju (free of charge)
• Purchase sake and delicacies from all over Japan at our shop
• Enjoy sake and Japanese authentic cuisine at our traditional restaurant Sakabayashi (for inquiries about restaurant reservations, please contact sakabayashi@shushinkan.co.jp)

 Sakabayashi 11:30 - 14:30 (L.O. 14:00)
      17:30 - 22:00 (L.O. 21:00)

Tour reservation: required at least 2 days in advance.

By train or taxi
• 8 minute walk from Ishiyagawa Station
• 5 minute drive from JR Rokkomichi Station
• 20 minute drive from Shin Kobe Station

By airplane
From Kansai International Airport there is a shuttle bus to the hotels near Shushinkan.
From Kobe Airport you can easily reach Shushinkan by local train in less than one hour.
